Today we are going to do a review on Ariat Men’s Workhot 8″ Composite Work Boots. Welding boots are an important part of a welders Personal Protective Equipment or PPE. It should be something that you neglect, or think na it’s okay since the welding arc is far from your feet anyway so the risks it can get into is lesser compared to other parts of your body. While this may be true, it doesn’t mean that it’s okay for you to neglect purchasing a quality working boot! I’m not saying that you need to spend thousands of dollars for a boot, but there are affordable boots in the market that you can purchase that will provide great quality protection.
Just like the boot we will review for today! You can purchase this boot at the online shop called Amazon. Have you heard of Amazon before? It’s so easy! You just type in Amazon on the URL and it will direct you to the website. Put the name of the product you are looking for and search for it. If you find it, you will be able to zoom in on the pictures and read reviews about the products, written by actual customers who purchased it. That’s great because somehow it gives you an insight if the product is really good before you spend money purchasing it.
A good boot will pay for itself in the long run.
Here is an image of the boot we will be reviewing for today:
The original price of this boot was at 204.95 US DOLLARS, but now, it has gone down to 99.99 US DOLLARS to 189.99 US DOLLARS! That’s quite a discount! If I were you, I’d add it to my cart while there is stock available. However, make sure that you measure our size properly before purchasing okay. Just a little tip!
Anyway, the boot is made from genuine leather and it comes with a synthetic sole that will protect your feet from harm in case you step on something sharp during your working hours. The shaft of this boot measures approximately 11″ from the arch, while the heel measures 1.75″. The boot opening measures approximately 17″ around! I like that the neck of this boot is longer because it provides a bigger or a wider scope than a normal boot.
This boot from Ariat is of good quality and it will really help you. It comes with their special ATS Max Technology that supports and cushions your feet as you move, promoting good posture and also helping to reduce fatigue. You will also find a forefoot and a heel stabilizer that will help support and reduce foot fatigue and injury. The EVA mid-foot support helps to reduce metatarsal stress. It also comes with a shock-absorbing gel cushion that reduces skeletal impact stress on the knees, hips, and lower back.
Here are some customer’s review about the boot:
“I wore these boots with the original insoles for a week and my feet were sore. There is a bit of breaking in for these but after swapping out the insoles, my feet feel much better. I usually wear a size 10 shoe and boot (Nike, Timberland, Dress shoes), but these ran bigger than normal. I stepped down to a 9.5 and they are better, but I think that I can even go down to a 9. I’ll keep that in mind if i order another pair of these. I like the composite square toe. They slip on and off fairly easy with their U-Turn system. No more laces! I have wide feet and the EE size was right on. They are light weight and I can easily wear these now for a full 10 hour shift.” — Redge
“These are very comfortable boots. I bought them mainly for work but have taken to wearing them most every where. They look great and I get compliments on them all the time. This is my third pair of Ariats and I do not plan on buying any other brand of work boot from here on out.” —- Tourglide
“I am a 13 D bootsize; and these boots fit my feet perfectly. The heavy boot construction provides solid support when working in mud, sand or the stables. The boots go on and off quite easily compared to other boots I have worn. The non-slip boot sole is really non slip. If you need a roper style heavy western work boot, these are the are for you. I am very happy.” —- Francis B. Morganti
“Love the way they fit and look. I have a high instep so I needed to use my normal size instead of sizing down 1/2. I know because I did try the smaller size and could not even get my foot in. Works out good though because it kept plenty of space at the toe even with the cap.” —- U235
“As soon as my husband put these on and started walking around his eyes grew big and he said “wow – its like walking on a cloud!” This was after wearing regular boots to work for years.” —- Maria
Good luck on finding the right shoes for you! Hopefully this product review somehow narrowed down the choices for you! 😉 Remember that in the end, no matter how people shove a product to you, it is only you alone who will be able to know if a product is the one for you. Remember to read up on articles and reviews about the product you are about to buy because you are going to be spending hard earned money on it. Plus, it would be such a hassle to buy a new boot every now and then.
