Best Auto Darkening Welding Helmet

Today we are going to be checking out some of the best auto darkening welding helmet. A welding helmet is a type of headgear that protects the welder’s eyes, face, neck, and breathing while he or she is welding. It is an important part of the Personal Protection Equipment. There are two types of welding helmet. There’s the manual helmet and the automatic helmet. The manual helmet doesn’t require any battery or power to work, but you will have to push the down the tint with the fixed shade. Meanwhile, the automatic helmet will just have to be charged and then put on. The darkness of the shade will adjust to the environment you are working at as of the moment, which is really convenient.

Here is a wonderful automatic welding helmet:

Here is a review about it:

“I am updating this review from 2 stars to 4 (would definitely be 5 if the first unit had worked as well as this new one) . After learning of my problem the manufacture promptly offered to replace my faulty shade for free. The new unit arrived yesterday and after trying it out it seems to work as intended. I can now set the sensitivity to where I can look directly at the shop lights without the unit darkening. I’m very pleased with this helmet now, and after only a couple of uses it is my new favorite. I like how the grind setting is external making adjustment easy while wearing it. The response time to unshade is quicker than my other helmet with them both set to their quickest time. Below is my initial review, if you experience the same problem please contact the manufacture and they will take care of it quickly:

I love everything about this product except for the fact that it auto-darkens when it is not supposed to. I’ve been using another auto darkening helmet for some time now which works fine, and i’m fully capable of understanding how to adjust the sensitivity. This helmet has four sensors, two of which on mine are hyper sensitive (bad resistor or something of the sort). Standing at my welding table with the room lights on and looking down at the work piece this thing auto darkens (when not welding) even with the sensitivity set to min (or max, I tried both in case I was interpreting incorrectly). Being curious I covered different sensors and found that two of them were overly sensitive. I’ll likely return the product for a replacement because I know I would love it if it worked correctly, but wanted to post this review to caution others who may experience the same problem and not realize that something is wrong. Happy welding!” – Bob Courtney
